Robert Schwarz: Das Unbewusste einer Festplatte — audio play
Duration: 10‘10“
Type: Source recording provided by the artist
das unbewusste einer festplatte (the unconscious of a hard drive)
As I was missing some audio files, I used the program „convar“ to restore all audio data on my reformatted hard drive. I received endless fragments of speech, music and soundscapes, many of them ruined. Thinking this as a form of digital psycho-analysis, the result could be called the unconscious of a hard drive.
